The second Seminar held on 15th December 2011 at the M-Plaza Hotel under the Theme; “Constitutional and Legal Guarantees of the Rights of Women, Children, and Persons with Disabilities: A Vague Hope or a Realistic Dream?” had H.E. Irene Vida Gala, the Brazilian Ambassador to Ghana; Mrs. Afua Ansre, Coordinator, UN Women; and Dr. Iyabode Olunsanmi, Country Representative, UNICEF Ghana; chairing the Opening Ceremony, First and Second Sessions respectively. Hon. E.T. Mensah, Minister for Employment and Social Welfare, was the Special Guest of Honour, whilst Justice Anin Yeboah, Justice of the Supreme Court, was the Main Speaker.
Other Speakers included; Dr. B. I. Koray, Senior State Attorney, Ministry of Justice and Attorney General’s Department and; Nana Oye Lithur, Executive Director, Human Rights Advocacy Centre.
