CLARiON Call for Change – 2021

To commemorate International Women’s Day which falls on the 8th of March each year, CLARiT designed a Programme, “The CLARiON CALL FOR CHANGE” to create awareness and educate women, girls and the youth on gender equality, the 5th Sustainable Development Goal (SDG).

The objectives of the Programme include to;

• challenge the mind-sets of girls and women to think outside the box when it comes to women’s opportunities in the working world,
• promote research on gender equality;
• champion women’s education;

This year’s CLARiON Call for Change Programme held under the theme “Women in leadership: Achieving an equal future in a COVID-19 world” was held on 29^th June at the Nungua Senior High School was a resounding success.
